The recall affects about 10,300 Onasti Toddler Tower Stools, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday, Mar. 13. The stools can tip over or collapse during use, creating serious fall hazards.
The plastic, foldable stools come in multiple colors, including beige, blue, gray, green, and pink. They're about 25 inches long, 24 inches wide, and 32 inches tall.
The stools have an adjustable platform that moves between two and three steps. The Onasti logo appears on the warning label on the side.
A Chinese company named Blissful-Time is the manufacturer and has received four reports of the stool collapsing. Two injuries have been reported, including one child who suffered bruising and another who sustained a brain injury.
Parents are urged to stop using the stools immediately and store them out of children's reach. Blissful-Time is contacting all known buyers and offering free repair kits, which include replacement steps, a base, and a guardrail.
The stools were sold exclusively on Amazon from March to December 2024 for between $72 and $90.
